lets stick with fashion

The never ending question I get from my readers have been where do curvy women buy jeans. Here are a couple of tips I use whenever I'm denim shopping.

1. I always feel them to make sure they are soft which makes them super comfy, then I do a stretch test.

2. I read the labels inside to see what they are composed of. I prefer denim with 2% elasthanne, cotton, and 2% spandex.

3. I try them on and most times they fit me in the hips but not in the waist, so I focus on that and then it's time to take a trip to my seamstress.

Sometimes when things don't fit us the way we like, it's best to make an investment to get them altered. I get most of my jeans taken in at the waist and at the hemline. I also get dresses shortened, sleeves removed and any other crazy thing I can think of because I love to experiment with fashion. You have to do what works for your body type.

My favorite jeans are  Rag&Bone, CitizenofHumanity, Seven, Joe's and J Brand. I've tried Current Elliot, but very few styles fit my curves. I can't forget the Old Navy rock star Skinnies. They have the perfect stretch for curvy girls and they come in every color. Hope I answered all your questions. Have a great week!
