So yesterday was pretty cool day. I got to sleep in for the first Sunday in the past year and it felt pretty good. Sometimes there is no rest for the weary, lol.  But, now that I am a bit rejuvenated I am ready to get down to business.  And when you roll with me, you have to know, business means all things in truth and in love.

First things first. I wanted to ask a hypothetical question to get your brain going today: What would you do if you couldn’t speak to the love of your life for two months? How would you cope?  If you had no communication, how would you feel? I’d be sad, mad, devastated, lonely, and worried.  I’d also try to stay busy.  No questions, just answers.
Now, speaking of getting down to business and moving right along, a blazer, is one item I recommend everyone invest in. This is one of the most versatile items in your wardrobe.  They have them practically everywhere and if you don’t have one, I recommend this item as one of your staples.  Staples are the basic items to keep in your wardrobe that can be used for many different purposes and occasions. Today, I wore it kind of trendy because that’s how I was feeling but added the classics to give it a little balance.

I just want to say thank you again to all of my friends out there.  Thank you for your beautiful comments and encouragment. Until next times major must haves…:)

Wearing: Sweet Rags dress, Express Blazer, Dolce Vita Boots, Chanel Hand Bag, Spanx stockings.

  1. Tanya I just wanted to say that you always look so pretty, keep you the good work Ms. Lady

  2. Nice work. I luv your pictures. Your photographer really captures you spirit and it’s a good message. Pictures are worth a thousand words. If I couldn’t talk to the love of my life, I would get a calendar and mark off the days. I would also get a beautiful big candle from pottery barn or pier one imports that represents your love and light it everyday as a sign of your love. I would also pray for my love everyday. …but then I am a hopeless romantic, probably too mushy, lol 🙂
2 months is not as long as it seems. There are so many that deal with the loss of a love one that gets deported in the military or where I work, with mexican immigrants, a lot of families lose their mothers or their fathers, husbands, wives..etc. They get deported to Mexico suddenly and the families lose track of each other without warning for who knows how long. It is so sad. I love that song by Alicia Keys, don’t know the exact title but it says, "I gotta find a way to make it without you". Keep doing yo thing, shawty! lol. Can’t wait for the next one.

  3. The blazer can say soo many things…like sexy with little underneth, business or even casual. What ever the occasion you should feel your best. I must say you can pull anything off. SWEET RAGS I need some! The love of your life knows you love them so Im pretty sure your love is with them. Try writing your day to day things out. Keep your prayers up and god will take that prayer right to the heart of your lover. lol

  4. love the pop of color with the all black…I would surround myself with family and friends and count the dayz…it’ll be over b4 u know it…

  5. Love the beautiful colors in the dress…It really gives the outfit a bang! Also love those boots they are sexy over the knee, but yet very comfy. You gave me a great idea with the blazer for this 30th B-Day bash I will be attending over the wekend. I agree with Neca it’s so universal and I of course too will be sexxy. HAHA TOODLES!!!!!!

  6. To answer your question….. I would feel all those feelings you described. I would keep a daily journal of thoughts and events. Then I would share it with that special someone once we were together again.

    BTW!…..love the boots.
