99%of the time I never say anything that I’ll regret to anyone that I love. In the past when having a verbal confrontation with someone (example: in a public place, while driving, when someone has betrayed me) I admit my mouth would get a little out of hand. But as I get older and I reflect I would never want to hurt anyone (even if they say something to hurt me first) especially someone that I love. You can stand up for yourself in a assertive way without saying hurtful things.

When you say things that are hurtful they can never be taken back. You also don’t know how badly you might have hurt someone with something as simple as a word.  They may forgive you but they may not forget.

Always think before you speak because words hurt people emotionally and that is just as bad and if not worse than physically hurting someone. If someone is verbally or physically abusing you, remove yourself from the situation. There’s enough stress just existing in this crazy world. No one deserves that type of pain. Don’t allow anyone to violate you!

Tip of the day: The words that people say shouldn’t hurt us…but when you can’t tune it out anymore don’t stand for it! Eliminate these type of people from your life!

Wearing: Rachel Roy blazer (gifted from my bff), H&M shorts, (gifted from my daughter), LV bag, Gucci Heels.

  1. So very true i really wish MEN (let me rephrase BOYS) would read this. Once you say something that cuts deep its very hard to forget.

Love your outfit sis. Love you

  2. Can you help me out on something, I recently made a comment in passing that I don't know many people that wear a small size not to hurt anyone's feelings but they came back later and told me how much I offened them, is there such a thing as someone being to emotional and too serious about things, and the crazy thing about it is she wears a 2/4.

  3. I love this outfit from head to toe! Gorgeous! This post is fitting for anyone who is in turmoil about any type of friendship/relationship. We are love(others) not fighters and you grown up and suddenly you can't tolerate ignorance. The solution is to so you separate yourself from it. Well said Boo! Smooches
