These are the products that I absolutely could not live without right now! My hair has grown so much in the past couple of years just by sticking to these hair products and sticking with a deep conditioning routine.

1. It’s a 10 is the best leave in for your hair after you shampoo and condition. You should always use a leave-in no matter what. No exceptions.

2.Paul Mitchell Tea tree shampoo is great. It’s perfect for cleansing the hair and it tingles in your scalp which leaves your scalp refreshed. Hair growth starts with the scalp.

3. Aphrogee hair protection is a majormusthave. This is #1 because it instantly stops breakage. You put it on your hair (it stinks) and sit under the dryer every six weeks. Your hair will get rock hard so don’t be alarmed, then you proceed to deep conditioning.

4. Paul Mitchell Deep /moisture is a great deep conditioner. It leaves hair shiny.

5. Majormusthaves Caviar deep conditioner is also great for deep conditioning. It provides ultimate shine because it’s so thick that it coats your hair. If you don’t have think hair I suggest you do a light shampoo after deep conditioning your hair.  I alternate between two deep conditioners because once you use something for to long you hair gets use to it.

6. Nixon hair pills. This will have your hair growing longer and thicker.

7. Clairol’s Jazzing Cellophane in clear is great to mix in with your conditioning treatment. I use this every time I get my hair done. I sleep in this the night before I get my hair done, then I wash my hair and deep condition it. This is good if you have the time, but if not like I said you can mix it with your conditioner.

Lastly it’s always important to brush your hair trough after you apply your conditioner.

Gotta end it with a hair photo…

Everyone that knows me knows I’ve always had long hair, but I went through a point in my life where my hair was fried and dyed and it wouldn’t grow. It wasn’t until I started using these products consistently I seen the difference in my hair. I’ve also been using my majormusthaves shampoo along with this regimen. It’s in the last stage of product development and will be ready soon.

Thanks for visiting!

  1. Thank you for posting this!!! Now I have some questions if you don't mind answering them. My hair is natural, I have a curly hair pattern/type, I tried to look up the type and it appears to be a 3c (shrugs) Lately for some reason the front of my hair has started to no longer curl up. When I do the wash and go it curls up everywhere else except for this part right in the front. I don't get it pressed out often because I am afraid that it won't curl up anymore, like it's doing now.

Here are my questions: Is there a natural hair care product I can use that will help my hair retain (i guess you can say) or help the straight part curl back up? Also, for some reason my hair won't grow now that it's natural like it did when I was getting relaxers, is there a reason for that? It's like when I get it pressed out and (my hairstylist presses it from the roots) it doesn't seem to be growing.

Sorry if that was too much!! 🙁 Any advice you can give is appreciated.

  2. I am in love with your blog! You manage to be a wife, mother and woman of God- all while looking fabulous! You are an inspiration and a true DIVA!

  3. Your hair is always so beautiful. You are such a giving person, always sharing your tips and beauty secrets!! Who does that?? Not many! There are people that do not like to share their "secrets" for whatever reasons but it is people like you who love themselves and are secure with what they have and know that it doesn't take away from you to care and share with others. That is why you are abundantly blessed beyond all your material possessions!!!

Thank you. God made you so fabulous, inside and out!

    xoxo

  4. THANK YOU for sharing. I am always looking for new products to help with my hair growth. I now use a Tea Tree based regimen on my face, but never thought about using it on my hair. I will have to try that out!

    Happy New Year!

  5. Hey Tanya, Happy New Year, I would love to try some of the products that you are using, I will try to start looking to purchase them, I am also growing my hair out to hopefully bra strap length, my hair was fried & dyed too! I started using Nature's Bounty hair nails & skin 3000 mg it has biotin in it that helps my hair grow, my hair started fall out back in 2010 due to surgery, I was told due to the stress it plays on the body. It is growing back nice & full, I add in extensions for extra length & versatility with hairstyling, I also use Shea Moisture's Organic Coconut & Hisbiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo, & the Curl & Style Milk, my hair absolutely loves these products, & it keeps my hair tangle free & the shine is fantastic.

  6. So what is your regimen? do you wash weekly? every two weeks? Do you wash, deep condition, then rinse and leave in?

  7. Hi,

I just found your blog and shortly after went on a search to get the products you mentioned in this post. To my surprise I found that the Nioxin pills are now discontinued? Have you continued to use them by purchasing them somewhere else? Do you think they are dangerous? I read a blog post that showed a response from the Nioxin website when the author queried as to why they were discontinued and they said that they can no longer sell products that contain biotin and horse extract? Do you know anything about this?
