workLast year I wanted to work on my patience and as time went on I’ve realized that I’ve reached my goal with my tolerance level. Now I have discovered something new that I need to work on and that’s blocking that inner voice that’s constantly having my mind at worry. It’s a constant struggle for me and it comes in spurts. Some months can go by and I’m fine , but then I’ll have those weeks in between that I’m worried about everything around me. It’s like I can’t turn my brain off! I guess it’s because I’m constantly reevaluating my life seeing what I can do to improve it and learning the power of the words that exit my lips. I want to think more before I speak. Sometimes I just vocalize what’s on my mind too much, but what I’m thinking isn’t for everyone’s ears or isn’t meant to be released into the universe…I’m just working on me.

Tip of the day: There is always something we can work on to make ourselves better.

workworkworkWearing on this rainy day: Noel sweater, Joe Jeans, Jessica Simpson Boots, LV Bag.

  1. Luv to hear about the goals you have set and met! I especially enjoy the fact they always focus on how you can treat others better, along with improving yourself 🙂

  2. I can relate with this post way too much. And when there's enough clarity I always remind myself, things do get better with time. You look awesome sis! ( I was thinking about getting those jeans ; *)

  3. The outfit is fab and the words e en more so! I find that I'm always worried about improving and getting "it" right. Lately I've been cautioning myself to not let my life slip by while I'm evaluating lol.

  4. We are always a work in progress. New lessons and maturity levels to reach at every point in our lives. I thank God for the insight to know that I must continue to grow, change and evolve as well. Nice post!

Playing catch up on all my fave blogs this week…had to stop by Major Must Haves 😉 Have a good week!

  5. And this is why I love you and appreciate you so much!!!!! You are so honest about who you are and where your journey in life has taken you. You NEVER act like you are perfect, always recognizing that you are the daughter of a king but there is always room for growth.

Thank you for sharing your life with us, for being so heartfelt about who you are and where you want to be. Not everyone can be so honest about themselves. Not everyone can admit there is always something we can work on. Life is about growth and you live it with so much style and grace!

You are an inspiration to me and you your blog is a blessing. And of course, I LOVE YOUR OUTFIT 🙂

  6. omg, I looove those boots. Love the JS brand too. I really need a staple pair of otk boots for my wardrobe and those are it!

  7. Hi there this is kind of of off topic but I was wanting to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually
code with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills
so I wanted to get guidance from someone with experience.

Any help would be enormously appreciated!
