5 sets of 20. Kick your leg up squeezing the weights then bring it back down.
So how has everyone been doing. I felt horrible yesterday. I ate terrible over the weekend. My little brother was over from college and he loves to eat so I slipped on 3 dinners, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I thought about it afterwards and said to myself, “what can I do to make better choices when going out to dinner.” I spoke with my friend Danni and she instantly put me back in check and said today is a new day, just get back on the wagon so that’s what helped me.
When eating out I will be more mindful of what I order. It’s gonna take some getting use to, but I know I can do it. I did workout 4 days last week so I have to give myself credit for that. That was my week. How did you guys do?
5 sets of 20. Kick your leg straight the bring it it. Make sure to stay leveled. These help your butt. I also need to get my stomach flat so while you do these keep your stomach in and don’t forget to breathe.
I exercised three days last week, but I did have two cheat meals over the weekend. However, I went grocery shopping Sunday night and now I'm pre-planning my meals. I never tried weighted donkey kicks. I'll add those to my list tonight.
AMAZING. Every day is a new day and you are on the right path. Before you know it eating right and exercising daily will be second nature to you. Thanks for inspiring us all to keep going.
Also, someone did a report saying that many people fail to workout because of work, meetings, happy hour, etc, and that it is best to just get it out the way. I have to decided to wake up at 6am every day and workout out. It makes me feel much better and happier during the day and it makes me think twice about cheating myself on my diet. While I know it will be hard in the beginning. Soon I will be so use to waking up early and working out that I will crave it.
Happy day people!
I just restarted couch to 5k I already completed week 1 and now I am about to start week 2. I am also trying to lose a few pounds that I gained this summer. I am also trying to eat better and I have stopped drinking soda which is huge for me since I can finish a 2 liter bottle of Coke Zero by myself in a day and a half………. I am trying to find a substitute I am not a big water fan but I am trying to drink water as well as diet snapple
Man am I glad that I am not the only one who slipped a little bit over the weekend! lol I didn't feel that good so I got off track and I was hanging out with family too. But now that I read this post I am even more motivated to keep going. Better some than nothing at all right? I proud of everyone that is trying their best! Keep up the good work. 🙂
Look at you! My tip for guilt free dining-out – stick to vegan dishes.
I only did one thing last week, it was different…."intestinal yoga". It consists of pummeling your gut area (seriously) and a series of moves designed to work and massage your digestive organs. But ummm yeah, its time to get back to sweating and reps and jump squats, etc etc.
Came down with a nasty cold last Wednesday and haven't done a thing. Lost 3 lbs though. Trying to replenish my fluids this week and eat right. Haven't had ANY sweets, which is HUGE for me cuz I'm a junk food junkie. But did have some salty snacks 🙁 Tried the Insanity workout and only lasted 7 minutes. Whew! Try again tomorrow! 🙂
You're so inspiring with this diet and fitness segment of your blog. I like it! Please keep the meals and workouts coming. You got me to Zumba class twice last week! I tried your breakfast of 3 scrambled egg whites with tomatoes and onions with 2 slices of turkey bacon. I had two slices of dry Weight Watchers whole wheat toast instead of the avocado because it wasn't ripe yet. It was a delicious and very filling breakfast! Thank you.
I did good last week, I am down 4.5 pounds. My cheat day was Sunday & I enjoyed it. Then it was back to business on Monday. I am also sleeping better.
I cheated several times within the last few days and only worked out once. I'm back on it today starting with oatmeal for breakfast.
Do you have any recommendations for managing hair when one is working out regularly? I work out about 5 days a week and in the summer, I leave it wet and make it work, but it's way too cool to do so now and I don't think it's a great idea to flat iron my edges every day.
I've done great this week. I've got up at 5 everyday to workout and I've cooked my meals instead of eating fast food. I'm proud of myself.
