The holiday giveaway has now ended. I said I was only going to do one but after reading all my emails I decided to help 4 families. My friend decided to help two families as well. In all we will be helping 6 families this Christmas and I’m so happy that I’m able too.

It’s funny how when you help some people, they aren’t always receptive to wanting to give back. Now I’m not saying these families won’t help, I’m just stating facts from my past experiences where I’ve seen others take and not give back. You don’t necessarily have to give as far as monetary. You can give back with your time (your time is valuable), by speaking to someone and just listening. You can help with giving away some things you already have or you can just smile and give someone a hug. These small things sometimes mean more to people than money.

Next year I really want to change some things about myself for the better. I want to give a little more. I’m going to try and be more selective with the frivolous things that I may purchase sometimes just because I can. I guess I’ve always felt that as long as I save I can do whatever I want with my extra cash, but when I see how grateful some people are for $100 and how far they can  make it go, it makes me want to try to be a little more mindful of my spending. It won’t happen overnight but at least I’m trying. I’m just growing, learning and sharing. Thanks for listening.

I am grateful to all my readers that have helped me do better and have been watching me grow these past 3 years. HAVE A BLESSED DAY EVERYONE!
