The past couple of weeks have been so busy for me. I’ve been trying to do it all while still trying to be a great mom and wife. People always ask me how do you maintain yourself with kids and work. I feel that taking care of myself is essential in order for me to give my full potential in whatever I do. I need to be confident when I attend meetings, when I see my husband and when I’m running around town with my kids because when I feel good on the outside it exudes from within. I think its mandatory to get your hair done, polish your nails/feet and dress up whenever you can. My family is use to me like this.
Tip of the day: Take care of you so you can take care of the people around you…

Wearing: Fredericks of Hollywood Jacket, Miu Miu wedges, LV bag.

Aaah you look too cute! Love the hair!
I know I don't comment much but I just need to say that your blog posts are like my morning cup of coffee. You are such an inspiration and your words always hit home in some form or fashion (pun intended). For that, just wanted to say THANK YOU!
You look great and I love your hair curly. I live by the same philosophy as you. You have to take care of YOU first so you can take care of your family! Just like they tell you on a plane: Put On Your Own Oxygen Mask First!
Love the message in this post. It can be difficult at times, but I totally agree that it's important to keep yourself up on the inside and out. Plus, you just never know ho you're going to run into, and people will often will judge you on sight.
Love the curls too. A tutorial would be great! I just shouted you out in my latest post for the Aphogee recommendation.
Keep up the good work! I will never forget you and your blog is what inspired me to start mine. Thanks so much!- XOXO

Sometimes I forget about the importance of doing the little things like keeping the nails right. Thanks for the reminder.

Love the Big, Curly Hair!
You have perfect timing! I needed this! Thank you for your words.
Love the hair! So right. Going the extra mile in my attire was at the top of my list since the end of last year and it does make me feel so much better about facing the day. My new motto is if I can't take a picture in what I'm wearing it's not worth wearing at all!
Super cute hair.. Love the curls…
Great post. Just what I needed to read. Working on getting back into that routine. It's so true, that when you look your best you feel your best.
Today is my first time visiting your blog and it's as if I was predestined to become a follower because your most recent post solidifed my thinking that self-care is critical to our effectiveness in the lives of others (our partners, children, etc.). Thank you for being an immediate inspiration…I'm off to read more of your posts!

You look amazing! the stripes look so good on you. I could not agree with you more about taking care of yourself before taking care of others and taking the time to put yourself together. I am a firm believer in the fact that you feel so much better when you take good care of yourself.
