One should never take advantage of a situation that will cause another to be at a disadvantage.  For example, when a cashier gives you too much change, you might think you’re getting away with the goods, but did you ever stop to think that the clerk will end up getting the missing balance taken out of their check! Sounds like a small infraction but a lot of people do it in their day to day lives and may not be aware or simply don’t realize the consequences it will cause.

Another more general example is when someone is nice, a really genuine person who takes the time to do something nice and their kindness is taken for weakness. When you do that you are really putting yourself on the line.  You really don’t want to end up on the evil side of karma because the situation can always turn around and you will be the one that is  taken advantage of. The worst part is it can happen to you at the most inopportune time. Treat others the way you want your most treasured friends and family to be treated.  Treat them like you would want to be treated. Respect others kindness.

I am proud to say that my daughter got an A on her test in school recently.  She only missed one answer. I taught her to always review her test when she gets it back and after reviewing this one she noticed she actually missed two answers instead of one. She immediately told the teacher and points were deducted but she told me her conscience felt better. What a blessing! If there were more people in this world with a conscience…the world would be a better place don’t ya think!;)

Tip of the day: Recognize when there’s an opportunity for you to grow!

  1. What a pretty summery dress!!! You look bright like the sun shine … You've got me craving for summers! 🙂 Love the Fendi heels too btw!

  2. It always looks like the most beautiful and sunny in California. I really love the silver sequins on your dress and how you paired it with that bag.

You are raising little women of integrity, just like their mommy.

    God bless,
    Grace

  3. I couldn't have said what you posted any better…and you know, the cashier issue actually happened to me not too long ago. The cashier had given me $20 more than what I should have received. I immediately told her and gave it back. She was embarrassed but I told her that it happens. It's happened to me many times….

    What a pretty dress!

You always look absolutely gorgeous in every photo.

  4. Very settle pretty colors great for any season! Yes you are right about always being honest and telling the truth it's nothing like a person who is a cheat and liar. I have started training my daughter already at 3 years old to always be an honest and caring person. Although she is an only child she struggles with sharing lol everything is hers….but I make sure to let her know that sharing is caring. 🙂

  5. Very true words indeed. Cute cardigan. Also, I'm hosting a giveaway on my blog and would love it if you participated. I'm giving away a pair of swarovski crystal hoops I made. The giveaway ends Valentine's day at 11:59 PM.

  6. Jus Lovely! You would think it was summer! That dress is so perfect…but then tomorrow it might be raining. Cali weather is so unpredictable. Nevertheless you look good no matter what the forecast is! Smooches
