I’m at the point in my life where I can’t have any negative energy around me! If you are a person that has five different personalty, as nice as I am I can’t deal with it anymore. You should enjoy the company that you keep.

The signs of a negative/bad energy person:

You never know how their mood will be so you have to prepare yourself for them.

Sometimes people are so use to being negative, that they don’t even recognize this trait in themselves. I refuse to put myself in a miserable situation. I need positive people around me at all  times. It’s different if you are going through something and you say “please excuse me but I’m having a hard time in my life right now,” but just to be in a bad mood cause you feel like it and you want to take it out on everyone else. No, no, no, those days of dealing with people like this are over for me. From this day forward I will try to avoid negativity at all cost meaning negative people and negative situations!

Tip of the day: When you are a negative person, you push your positive blessings away :).

Wearing: Sweet Rags jean dress, Steve Madden Wedges, Fendi spy bag.

All the goodies my baby brought me back from Accra, Ghana:).

  1. LOVE that dress and I like the leopard print wedges! That bag is classsic need I say more. As for dealing with people with negative vibes, well they need to kick rocks or "Miss me with the bull$@*! lol as you would say. Who has time for that there is so much more in life to deal with then the BS. Like sending your kids acroos the country so they can have more then what we had…..btw I want one of those bracelets lol.
    PEACE OUT

  2. That dress is too pretty. It reminds me of something Betsy Johnson would design. Its so pretty & feminine. And of course I love the leopard print wedges. Leopard just meshes well with anything.

  4. Love this post so very true. You look beautiful and I love the ponytail. Glad your princess made it back safe.

  5. Aaah that was so sweet of her! I see she has picked up your great eye for fashion too! 🙂 Love the outfit as usual! Stay blessed chica! 🙂

  6. Very cute look. I love the frilliness of the dress!

I totally get what you're saying about the people who you never know what type of mood they'll have. Inconsistency is the worst! Either be nice or be a jerk all of the time.

  7. You always manage to put a smile on my face. I was in a horrible mood today and this post made me forget all about it.

    You are such a blessing.

Okay so I am so excited that your daughter had the opportunity to go to Ghana. My best friend is Ghanaian (an Ashanti) but I love their culture. Your daughter is so blessed to have such great experiences!

You look darling. I am going to have to check out Sweet Rags to see what other great dresses she has…

I pray that God would continue to pour out blessings over your life!

  9. How cute this dress is, I like your hair and the pink necklace from Africa that your daughter brought to you is so nice!
Hope she had a great time in Ghana.

  10. I totally agree with your message because I'm on the same page. You have to wash away the negativity to allow the overflow of positivity to come your way… Your dress is adorable and the purse & shoes are too cute… 🙂

  11. Ohh love how your Fendi spy matches that dress. So with you on the negative people, I just avoid friends who are like that all together, hi, bye, nothing too long or detailed, that way I don't end conversations feeling like I should be on a ledge somewhere. Did I mention I made your smothered potatoes? was amazing!

  12. Good to hear your daughter traveled to and fro safely.
And yes…please preach. You are always right on time with your posts for me. Negative people are definite no no. Blessings. xx

  13. OMG! You so need a "LOVE IT" option on your blog! Your advice and messages are not given in vain. Trust me, they help me out so much. Your daughter has done something millions of us have yet to do…visit the Motherland! She is so blessed to have done that at such a young age. WoW! I plan on visiting Africa soon. Love the beautiful gifts that she brought back. Fabulous outfit that you have put together!

  14. Ok you look like a teenager! So cute! I really love that dress. And….look at all the goodies your daughter brought you. How sweet.

As far as your message, I think that's why I have a very small group of friends. The ones I use to hang with were so negative. I just couldn't take it any longer.

  15. Love the girlie look…. Perfection as always. Looove the dress on you and the hair is flawless. 😉

  16. Loves it!!!!! Your daughter is fortunate to have gone to the mother land. She has a good momma! Happy Mother's Day when it comes. Give us some mother's day fab pleez!!! I need a cute summer bbq look. You should try telling that negative person that they're driving you away that way they can be clear about what they're doing. There's a chance they mat not know what they're doing but if they continue to do it after than scrap em!

  17. I always love READING your blog, it's inspiring. What a great mix of gorgeous clothes and inspiring words.
